I read a book about a similar trip on a Royal Enfield. Can’t recall the name…

Form over function brother…I’m in but we buy the bikes there…think parts and repair…about us stuck in a village for months because we can’t buy the part locally!

    Don’t get me wrong it’s a way cool bike…and I’m down with that ..but…but..

Nah, you need one of the ones that you can hire in Goa. Not much more powerful than a hairdryer, but lots of fun
    Nathan Curry replied :
Sarah Taylor they are fun those scooters.
    Sarah Taylor replied :
Nathan Curry yes, though I did lose a lot of skin from the top of my foot
    Nathan Curry replied :
Sarah Taylor that’s user error though.
    Sarah Taylor replied :
Nathan Curry oh I know! I was a passenger after that!
    Nathan Curry commented :
Not to cross the Himalaya. Thai is an Enfield – the parts is the only issue – if something goes wrong in those high mountain passes.
