Pretty funny anecdote from Nikola Tesla’s amazing autobiography:
Voltaire drank 72 cups of strong black coffee a day. He left 100 volumes of fine print writing. Tesla read them all. When he reached the last volume he closed the last page and said to himself: “Right: never again!”
72 cups of coffee a day. Damn!

Number 71 Monsieur Voltaire?

Balzac was just as big a nut. I’m pretty sure he died from coffee poisoning.
French doctors: “There’s no such thing!”
Voltaire and Balzac: “Hold my beer.”

Well I guess he was trying to stay awake/alive and share with his 72 cups. I guess he had servants who washed out the coffee cups and coffee grounds, otherwise that is amazing. I have learned that the used grounds are very valuable. Did he mention anything about that? I am sure that there’s a faster and less costly way to stay awake/alive. I call it intentional breathing or bringing a quiet happy attention to my breathing. Who breathes you.
