Husbands husband

Thomas Merton had affairs as a monk. He tried to be a Trappist. It trapped him. He could have just been a husband. But then 7 mad misperceptions and 3 ego idols gets you repressed. Understanding the 9 enneatypes frees you. So does the triune society, being a normal human being (not a guru out to halo/hello!/help), understanding Sophia, Tumas and Logos and applying it.

A husband husbands and finds he is naturally a teacher of example, a doctor of lifestyle and authentic nature and never a victim or victimizer and definitely not someone out to save or be saved wearing the badge of “I need to be needed so please follow my needy preachings.” Go beyond all that and you act.

A humanist never looks down on a man or woman or a child. Not one. Not ever.

I did enjoy “The Seven Story Mountain”, though.

Charles Lilly he wrote well. He just didn’t understand sun spots.

Off topic, but have you ever read any Bonhoeffer?
    Nathan Curry commented :
It probably isn’t off topic. No. What does he say?
    Charles Lilly replied :
Nathan Curry really I was just wondering, he was a Christian pastor executed by the Gestapo. He wrote some of the deepest, and hardest to understand, books on (Christian) faith.
    Nathan Curry replied :
Charles Lilly I’ll take a look. I have a habit for knowing what’s accurate.
    Charles Lilly replied :
Nathan Curry I only brought it up because you seem, to me, to be someone who enjoys being knowledgeable on subjects across faiths.
    Nathan Curry replied :
Charles Lilly like Joseph Campbell, yes.
