Discernment and the Course in Miracles

Much of the Course in Miracles written by Dr Helen Schucman is total nonsense.

Some of it like this quote is absolutely correct and accurate.

    Charles Lilly commented :
I started the Course, and on the surface it seemed good and fulfilling. But something about it didn’t set right with me. I remember I put it aside and read Cosmic Trigger for the first, of many, times. It was a much better choice.
    Nathan Curry replied :
It made a bunch of errors. It also got some very very very important things right.
    Matthew Davies commented :
A healthy mind is more conducive to a healthy body and visa versa, although not a definitive
    Nathan Curry replied :
Matthew Davies no it is a definitive. A healed mind cannot be sick. Period. Bury your cleverness in the putrefied soils of wisdom.
    Matthew Davies replied :
I agree with your statement, thanks
    Flo Furtek commented :
    Nathan Curry always the question
    What about babies?
I feel in the original post and follow up comments such a resistance and judgement on sickness
    It’s not logical to me
Shadowlands or we can chat about this again when we are 400. Look to nature’s kingdom- what do you see?
How many gurus ascended like Elijah??
    Nathan Curry replied :
Flo Furtek when one understands what psychological inflation is – Robert A Johnson was a pioneer in this field – the utter insanity of the projected illusion that they call samsara is seen. What they call Samsara – that which is identified as such is a total lie. Nothing could be further from the truth.
    Nathan Curry replied :
Flo Furtek logic got us into a deceptive mess. Logos never believed it nor sanctioned it. Once seen the distortion disappears for ever. Like an optical illusion that has been identified and outgrown. Fully. One realists one is fully human. The unbound. With great levity and all gravity placed in its rightful place. Expansion is. Reaction has no grounds to seed in us inwardly henceforth. Enlightenment is not static. But ever growing. This is true for one and all. And in all directions and dimensions.
    Nathan Curry commented :
The mess was, is and never will nor can be real.
Babies all come with samskaras – they are the codes for the codes we call dna. Epegenetics is still a fairly primitive science in most universities on the planet. No boasting born of unexcavated insecurity intended nor actual, it is incredibly evolved and ever evolving (because I stumbled on logos, the evolution of evolution and incubation inwardly) in my mind.
What we have considered man and nature and sex and gender to be – well, it had been wrong. An abomination to what it really is.
    Darwin wrote:
“There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being evolved.”
That was in the first edition of his book, “The origin of species.”
He got it right the first time. Then insecurity got the better of him and he added a creator to that narrative.
    That was an error.
There is no creator. No noun (other than all of creation – both what is seen and what goes beyond the body’s eyes). There is just the verb that life is infused in all unfolding.
The evolution of evolution is the complete stopping of the belief in an external creator and the embracing of a deeper knowing.
This knowing, when rooted in the mares that carry us as far as longing can reach, and yet further still, once those horses come and fetch us onto the legendary road of sanctity that carries the he who knows through the vast and dark unknown,
once the significance of those events are fully seen, there arises in the mind an awareness of what falsity man has dreamt up. It falls away.
And the children of men are aligned henceforth with the proper function their inspiration defines.
Once it happens in one mind – it is inevitable that it will happen in every mind on the planet.
The last time it happened was in Parmenides in 450 BC. Two weeks ago it happened in me.
There must have been some tiny shard of ego in Parmenides that prevented that flourished chain reaction. There can be no other explanation. That is not the case with me.
    Nathan Curry commented :
The Indians have a subtle distinction which western languages lack when it comes to ego.
    Their word is ahamkhara.
In the West ego is just used to mean the voice of doubt. That is entirely accurate.
However beyond that there is a voice of clarity that has a vitality that no attack nor defense can undermine. That is the meaning of ahamkara – the anthithesis and liberator that ever operates and is evolving, and not just evolving but evolving in the nature of its evolution, beyond what is fearful.
    Nathan Curry commented :
When experienced inwardly – which the Easterners and the saints of the West too – avoided then one does not succumb to psychotic illness (sychophants, psychologists and all the other forms of insecurity that evade what is our actually our natural state – ie grounded sanity) – nor does one head to the escapist upness of “sainthood” that makes the body an abomination to escape – one sits in the Middle place and sees the bee’s sacred purpose.
In this state all violence and escape from violence ends, all gurus and coaches and messiahs are ditched, pragmatism, friendship, humanism and families and genuine grounded vision remain. Sex is no longer perverted nor vilified and man’s role as holistic and wise manager of the chorus of earth energies is sanctified beyond any possibility of a doubt.

    Flo Furtek commented :
Verbs with subject and object is not possible- and the hidden secret!!!
    “ Run!”
    Stop!
    Be!
    … see?

If you might pause for a moment to consider there may be a new possibility in our difference and interaction
Yes to euvolution – evolving evolving

    Flo Furtek commented :
I read here that the mind and body are different things
“ nothing to do with the body”
    The mind is the body
    Everything to do
    Nathan Curry commented :
What we are witnessing in the world at present is the death of some major illusions that have hijacked organic life for millenia.
Viruses do not hijack, they are hijacked.
We are not insane we imagine ourselves to be.
When that gets corrected through the inflection of our relationships, both with one another and with nature and how we responsibly manage it – healed of fear and restored to the garden of wonder, the strands of dna that have been hijacked are no longer so. That is the magic alignment now happening. It leads irrevocably to a golden age.
Civil wars, world wars, pained autoimmune conditions mixed with hurtling peoples too bust to stop equates the phrase – it is darkest before the dawn. Then someone finally stops and the supernova of a new age flourishes in all.
